"If anything negative could be said about Wednesday night's performance at Second Story, it would be that the dance floor was too small to hold all of the people who needed to use it. The Crawdads opened both shows for Queen Ida with impressive sets combining the Blasters' brand of roots rock and roll with the New Orleans rhythm and blues made famous by Professor Longhair. The Crawdads material was well-chosen and well-played with pianist Craig Brenner enjoying the spotlight on Professor Longhair tunes and guitarist Jimmy Bracken on the rock and roll."
