Craig Presents Music in Indiana State Parks

Clifty Falls State Park , Campground Amphitheater, 2221 Clifty Drive, Madison, IN

The performance is the result of an Arts in the Parks grant from the Indiana Arts Commission for the project "Craig Presents Music in Indiana State Parks". Craig will perform with drummer Tim Brookshire, provide percussion instruments and invite young people to play along on some tunes, exploring the jazzy side of blues, boogie woogie and other styles, focusing on music by Indiana musicians. Craig will also talk about the history of the park and about Hoosier composers and musicians, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the IN Arts Commission, Centennial of the State Parks, and Bicentennial of Indiana. Other performances funded by the grant are at Brown County and Spring Mill, Fourwinds Lakeside Inn & Marina at Lake Monroe, and Paynetown at Monroe Lake. Information about the Arts in the Parks grant is at http://craigbrenner.com/news. This activity was made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
